Cascade Engineering has partnered with the Wildman team in Holland, formerly known as WM Uniform.
The company specializes in plastic injection molding, producing a wide range of products from trash bins and automotive parts to furniture and flood barriers.
With six facilities operating in close proximity, the company relies on effective systems to keep employees safe and operations running smoothly.
Sharon Darby, who manages environmental safety and sustainability, shared how Wildman has become a trusted partner in supporting those goals.
Responsive Service and Reliable Support
Sharon began working with Wildman nearly two years ago and quickly noticed the team’s attentiveness. “Service reps are very good and very responsive,” she explained. “If I need information or want to see something change, they help with that.”
Even when Sharon is in another building and doesn’t cross paths with her representative on site, she has direct access through phone and email, which gives her confidence that support is always available.
Making Safety Easier to Manage
One of the most valuable benefits for Sharon comes from Wildman’s management of eyewash stations. With half of the units plumbed and the other half requiring frequent water changes, maintaining them had become a major challenge for Cascade Engineering’s staff.
“It’s a pain. People don’t want to do it, they don’t know how to do it, and they don’t have the time,” Sharon said. “Wildman takes care of it, and that’s what I’m most thankful for.”
Wildman also upgraded Cascade Engineering’s first aid stations, replacing older white boxes with red ones stocked with gloves and other supplies. Employees now appreciate the improved accessibility and the consistency of replenished materials.
Practical Benefits Across Six Facilities
By handing supply management to Wildman, Sharon saves significant time. The team handles ordering, stocking, and removing outdated items, allowing Sharon to focus on costs instead of logistics. “They pretty much do everything, freeing up my time for other business,” she said.
Cascade Engineering employees also prefer the quality of Wildman’s supplies compared to products from past providers. Sharon noted that usage has increased, especially for lens cleaning cloths, which employees value for their effectiveness.
From Gaps to Confidence
Before Wildman, Cascade Engineering relied on a patchwork of solutions. An MRO (Maintenance Repair & Operations) supplier would occasionally order and deliver supplies, but their solutions lacked the structure and consistency of a dedicated service.
When Cascade Engineering’s previous eyewash service ended abruptly, Sharon’s team faced the burden of managing it themselves. Partnering with Wildman resolved that challenge and restored confidence in safety systems.
A Partner That Delivers
When asked what she would tell another company about Wildman, Sharon’s answer was clear: “They are responsive, they reply quickly, and they are consistent.”
For Cascade Engineering, that reliability has transformed safety management from a constant struggle into a dependable, seamless system that supports both employees and operations.
